Alps Transfers Direct is a trading name of WE CAB SASU, a French SASU providing private ski transfer services between Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble airports and French Alps ski resorts. WE CAB SASU is the data controller responsible for your personal data processed in connection with our services.

2. What Data We Collect

When you contact us to request a quote or make a booking, we may collect the following personal data:

• Your name
• Phone number (including WhatsApp number)
• Email address
• Pickup location and airport terminal
• Destination resort and drop-off address
• Travel date and time
• Number of passengers (including children)
• Luggage details and ski equipment requirements
• Flight number and arrival time (when provided)
• Special requirements (child seats, accessibility needs, etc.)

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Payment arrangements are handled directly and separately at the time of booking confirmation.

3. How We Collect Your Data

We collect your personal data through the following channels:

• WhatsApp messages initiated via the quote request buttons on this website
• Emails sent directly to booking@alpstransfers.co.uk
• Information you provide during booking confirmation exchanges

This website does not use contact forms that submit data to a server. All quote requests are initiated by you directly via WhatsApp or email.

4. Why We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide the transfer service: processing your quote request, confirming your booking, coordinating your pickup, and communicating with you before and during your transfer.
• To monitor flight information: when a flight number is provided, we may use it to track delays and adjust your pickup time accordingly.
• To coordinate with transport partners: when your transfer is carried out by a vetted third-party driver, we share the minimum necessary data to complete the journey.
• To respond to enquiries: to answer any questions you raise before, during or after your booking.

The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of a contract (or steps taken prior to entering a contract) in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data may be shared with:

• Vetted transport partners: drivers or partner companies used to carry out your transfer. Only the data strictly necessary to complete your journey is shared (name, pickup location, drop-off address, flight number, passenger count, luggage details).
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): when you initiate contact via WhatsApp, your messages are processed in accordance with WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain booking-related personal data for a period of up to 3 years following the date of your transfer, or the date of your last enquiry if no transfer took place. This period allows us to respond to any complaints, disputes or legal claims that may arise.

After this period, your personal data is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data protection law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: you may ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.

Google Fonts is loaded via Google's CDN, which may result in your IP address being transmitted to Google's servers in the course of loading the font files.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Communication via WhatsApp benefits from end-to-end encryption as provided by the WhatsApp platform.

Your data is primarily processed within the European Union. Where data is shared with WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, headquartered in the United States), such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law.
